I will go back to my father and say: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you ... Luke 15:18-20.

Transformed read Luke 15:11-32)

The young man claimed his parable of the estate and left the family home. Perhaps he thought: - The farther away from my father, the better! But sank into sin and lost everything. Fell so low that, being hungry, came to desire food eaten by pigs. Then came the crucial moment. "Returning itself," recalled the happy life with his father and said: " I will go back to my father ." And it stayed with his good intentions, but got up and went and confessed his sins. This story illustrates what are repentance and faith. Repentance is not to do penance and meritorious deeds that would meet the power to compensate for faults. Repentance is turning to God, because you have confidence in him. You realize the failure of his life, looking to God, and him alone. This new guidance in relation to God produces a total change in thought, which is manifested in highly visible events. One day people saw the young leave the parental home. Later he was again broken and contrite. They also saw it radiate with joy by being pardoned by his father. Do you have returned to God by faith? Do you know your forgiveness and deep peace that accompanies it?
